We accept VISA and MasterCard credit/debit cards and also Discover and American Express. You may choose to send a check or money order when ordering both online and by phone. Personal and business checks may be held for up to 10 business days to ensure payment clears before an order is shipped.
We accept purchase orders from educational and government organizations, W-9 form is supplied on request. RainmanWeather is required by law to charge State and individual County discretionary sales taxes for any order shipping within the State of Florida only. If you have a Consumer, Agricultural, or Resale exemption, please fax or email a copy of your certificate. We will remove the tax from your order once we have verified the documentation prior to shipping.
RainmanWeather consistently strives to provide the best prices available, or even allowed by the manufacturer in many cases, and we do not believe in "hidden charges" when it comes to shipping. Our standard carrier is UPS Ground. The shipping rates are the standard UPS Ground rates based on the weight and location of the shipper and receiver, along with any special handling charges that may apply. Shipping charges for all orders will be shown to you before you finalize your order. Our site is linked directly to UPS and our actual shipping charges are applied.
RainmanWeather ships via UPS to all addresses within the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico). We also offer service to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico via USPS Priority Mail. We are unable to ship orders Internationally or to Freight Forwarding locations in the US at this time.
Occasionally we receive a request to use an alternate carrier such as USPS for domestic shipments. We are happy to comply if possible on a case by case basis. Please submit your request in the notes of the order (We DO read them!) or Contact Us with your request. We also offer USPS as a standard option for selected items at our discretion where the smaller size and weight make it a more economical option.
RainmanWeather will ship your order within 24-48 hours on business days after it is placed with us. Usually orders placed by 3:00pm Eastern Time zone will ship the same day, and we are often able to ship orders received as late as 5:00pm the very same day! (excludes weekends and holidays, which ship the next business day). Same Day shipping applies to UPS orders only, USPS orders for in stock items will ship the next business day after receipt. UPS Ground shipping generally will take 2 to 5 business days to arrive. See our UPS Shipping Zone Chart for expected delivery time for your area. Standard delivery time for USPS Priority Mail is 2-3 days and may be longer for some locations.
Tracking information for your order will be provided to the email address on your account at the time of shipping and will also be available in your account order status.
On the rare occasion that an item is out of stock, you will be notified by email of the expected delay.
Your order may be delayed if there is an issue with the credit card name and address security confirmation.
All orders are screened for fraud and other irregularities. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.
In some cases the shipping may be directly from the manufacturer or a distributor, which is another way we work to save you both time and money.

Merchandise must to be returned in original manufacturer box, inside an outer shipping box, with enclosed documentation and all parts. Approved RMA number should be clearly visible on the outside shipping box.
RainmanWeather provides return shipping on exchanged defective items within 45 days of purchase (60 days for Davis Instruments products). With an approved RMA request, a UPS return shipping label will be emailed to your account.
The customer will be responsible for all shipping charges and insurance on non-defective return shipments. Returns must be delivered shipping charges prepaid.
It is strongly recommended that you fully insure your return shipment in case of loss or damage. Use a carrier that is able to provide you with proof of delivery.
RainmanWeather takes great care in the packaging and inspects each item before it is shipped. Upon receipt of your shipment please open all cartons immediately and inspect all merchandise. In most cases, the contents will be intact and unharmed - even if there is minor damage to the outer shipping carton. If your package arrives damaged and you are asked to sign, ensure that any damage is recorded on the carrier's delivery record. This information may be needed to verify a claim. If a package has considerable damage and it is likely that the contents are also damaged, you may refuse delivery. If you find that after accepting delivery or a delivery was made without signature that hidden damage exists, please contact RainmanWeather immediately. Please save all cartons and packaging for carrier inspection. All claims for damage must be made within 5 business days of delivery.

RainmanWeather will accept defective returns within 45 days (60 days for Davis Instruments products) from the delivery date for credit refund or replacement.
RainmanWeather will accept non-defective returns within 45 days (60 days for Davis Instruments products) from the delivery date for credit refund or exchange. A 15 percent restocking fee may be applied, as well as all shipping fees for non-defective returns.
If the customer refuses delivery for any reason other than damage, the customer shall be responsible for all shipping fees as well as a 15% restocking fee.
All products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects. After 45 days (60 days for Davis Instruments products), all manufacturers' warranties apply.
Special Holiday Note: Return Deadlines are extended for Holiday Gifts. For example, if a product is received as a Christmas Gift, we will extend the Return Policy to February 10th.
