The Weather Gateway connects to your network router with the included LAN cable to send secure, wireless forecasts to the display device - 24 hours a day without turning on a TV or Computer. A wireless range of 330 feet allows you to put the wireless display almost anywhere you want.
High-speed Internet access and a network router are required. Easy web-based set up allows you to select the forecast location and other information for the display. Once the simple set up is complete, the system works automatically without a computer. You can login at any time to customize your options.
Battery life is more than two years. The system includes a wireless display, wireless outdoor temperature sensor with mounting hardware, and a secure Weather Gateway with LAN cable and AC adapter. Installation is simple and can be completed in minutes without special tools or skills.
Expansion Options that add enhanced features to your wireless display are available online. User-defined alerts for forecast high or low extremes of temperature, humidity and precipitation, and severe weather alerts, are sent to the display. The same alerts can be sent as SMS text messages and e-mail. Imagine being alerted to severe weather conditions while you are on vacation. You may also add up to 5 forecast locations to your wireless display.

In addition to your standard location, Weather Direct® allows you to monitor four more forecast locations on your Wireless Display, for a total of five. This option now allows you to keep an eye on the weather in other places in addition to your primary location, like where your daughter goes to school, your favorite vacation spot, your parents' house and more.
